Pastor Marie Pronesti
Pastor Marie is the Associate Pastor of Eastward Christian Fellowship and has been serving there since October 2016.
In 2002, Marie came to saving faith in Jesus Christ through the Alpha course and the love of God through his people. She loves studying and teaching God’s Word, healing ministry, women’s ministry and being anywhere with family and the Body of Christ.
In 2009, after serving on the Vestry and leading both the Mercy Ministry and the Healing and Intercession Ministry at St. Paul’s in Darien, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of New England discerned her call to ordination and Marie began her seminary studies. Upon her return to Connecticut, she was part of a team from Stanwich Congregational Church that planted a church campus in Stamford in 2014. She also leads the healing prayer teams for a group of several hundred women in the Roman Catholic Church. Her heart’s desire is to serve the Lord in ministry, so every person could live their life to the full, spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Marie earned bachelor’s degree from both the State University of New York and the University of New Haven, and in 2012 was awarded a Masters of Divinity with a focus on Church Planting from Trinity School for Ministry in Pennsylvania.
